Tyki frowned at Haku's feeling of apprehenshion about the man called Zabuza, and wondered what other deep feelings were behind those words. He could only sense some of them. The Noah was taken entirely by surprise as Haku shrugged out of the top part of his Kimono, almost ready to cover his own eyes out of reflex. Was this what the shinobi thought he wanted? His thought was interrupted as he saw what was before him. A well toned if not very slight chest, definitely male features. Tyki's amber eyes wavered, following every line, every detail of the boy's exposed flesh.

It was even more of a shock to the Noah that he found Haku to be beautiful, even more beautiful than before, and he could do nothing to stop his thoughts from running rampant. The man almost laughed at himself, he hadn't known that he swung that way. It was pure and utter disbelief as he realized that his feelings hadn't changed. The truth was that he'd never seen a physique quite so dainty and yet strong at the same time.

"Haku you...you're a boy?" He stammered. It didn't change that he wanted to embrace him, in fact, he leaned forward and dared to brush his fingertips over the exposed flesh, unsure as to what he should say.

His feeling of oncoming rejection was very quickly thrown away as he noticed he didn't seem repulsed by the fact that he was in fact male. It was such a relief to him to not be turned away or called some sort of name for this fact. In fact he enjoyed the way his eyes took in the details of his form, trying to calm his heartbeat and it's threat to cause him to almost faint. It was ridiculous how silly he was about all of this and how nervous he truly was about it.

"I am, I am sorry for not correcting you." He allowed his fingertips to touch his skin, shivering just a little at the contact. It felt weird to have someone touch him in such a way and yet it was almost something that could have him eating out of the palm of Tyki's hand there.

Tyki cleared his throat, and found himself flushing, something that was almost unheard of. "You... It's alright. I'm just happy that you told me." I think.

The Noah resigned himself not to think about this too hard, not to look a gift horse in the mouth, to hold on to what was in front of him: a beautiful, lovely person. Haku really was a flower, more precisely a rose. He could pierce you, but he was so beautiful to look at. Tyki almost felt like he should apologize for touching the boy, but couldn't bring himself to. In fact, he wanted to touch him more.

The Noah reached up and brushed the boy's long hair back, still blown away that something male could be so beautiful. He waited for Haku to make a move, closer or further away he didn't know what would happen.

A soft little noise escaped from him as his hair was brushed back, squirming a little to regain his composure. It was nice to have someone acting like this around him, gentle and calm really. Almost bliss in a sense and as long as he could find a way to keep his interest he felt he could at least keep a hold on this for some time.

Without much thought he slowly moved forward, taking a seat on the edge of the bed. His hands had let go of the kimono, allowing it to pool at his waist, the tie still there luckily. Tentatively he took hold of Tyki's arm, head placed against his shoulder. His mind slowly began to wander again, relaxing a lot more than he had before. If he wanted to get more information out of him now was the time to truly do so.

Tyki found himself feeling a bit too warm, and unbuttoned the first button of his white shirt. He had abandoned his full suits and tuxedos for the more comfortable white shirt with suspenders. He took a deep breath and ended up nuzzling against the shinobi. This was... did he know how provocative he was? Yes, HE. Damn, that was going to take some getting used to.

Tyki absently petted the other's hair, the wall between them gone again. He was feeling Haku's apprehension and the giddy need for being near another. He didn't mind being lost in that feeling, in fact, it was kind of nice. He sighed a little and let his mind wander along side Haku's

Rolling hillsides, and sweltering summer nights.

distant thunder as a man cried out in pain, bleeding from wounds on his forehead. A young girl's face, split into a horrendous grin as she watched. There was a flash of lightning and a short, round man looked down at him with a grin.

Bits of Tyki's past rolled around in his mind unbidden. There was a moment of pause as he drifted into Haku's mind instead. So much fighting, so much blood. It seemed difficult. They weren't so different in the end.

When he felt the hand on his head a soft sigh escaped from him, almost drifting off to sleep right there. It had been some time since he had managed to get a proper night's rest in this place. Without a source of body heat it was horribly hard for him to get comfortable and adjust so with him being allowed to cling and such was more than enough to let him get to sleep.

However, when he slowly began drifting off he was startled out of his sleep by Tyki's thoughts of the time. Frowning he looked up at him with a curious look on his face, he knew that that was something no one should've been thinking of and it actually upset the shinobi a bit to see it.

"What... was that?"

Tyki glanced down at him, a little bothered that they he had seen what he did. It was something that no Noah spoke of, no Noah ever told anyone about. The stigmata that struck them and tore through their humanity, warping them and making them into their new selves.

"My... transformation. The day I became what I am now." He said, voice low. There was a moment of sadness as he knew that he had recalled the dark day again, even if it was unconscious. "My life ended and began that day." He said in a near whisper.

The Noah leaned down, and pressed a kiss to the top of Haku's head. He went back to stroking the boy's hair, feeling drowsy himself.

Don't worry about it, my flower. It is a pain that I've left behind long ago.

The explanation did little to soothe him, if anything it made him cling a little tighter to him. He couldn't think of anything that horrible for a 'transformation' and still call it as such. So much blood and pain was something that left his mind uneasy without knowing exactly what had been going on. But he left it where it was for then, not wanting to make him relive past experiences if they upset him.

Right...

Sighing he tried to settle down again, eventually drifting off. But even then his mind was apt to wander. Wandering back to his past once more. The warmth and happiness he had had with his family and then being ripped away from him yet again. The fright he had held when he was sure he was going to be killed. Nothing that was pleasant there.

A tiny whimpering was heard from him during the time, clinging oh so tighter and trying to bury his face against him for some sort of comforting action. It was a nightmare, this was true.

Tyki couldn't help but smile as he felt Haku's mind slip into sleep. It was strange, to feel such a thing from someone else. The mind changed a bit and it became abstract, full of dreams. For a moment, the Noah closed his eyes and thought to drift off as well. Suddenly there was blood, screaming and people dying. Haku was there, trembling, he was going to die.

Tyki jumped and he gently shook Haku, stroking the pale flesh of his face. It had to be the shinobi's dream he was seeing, and he didn't want him to suffer it any longer.

"Haku... Haku, wake up" he said softly.

With a little bit of a cry he was finally jostled from his little dream, hands tight around his arm and shuddering a good bit. It had been some time since he had ever had that particular nightmare, one where everything had been true. Well, almost everything.

With wide eyes he looked up at him, looking for any little sign of reassurance he could get. It would take him some time to get back to sleep and every moment before it would probably be spent trying to calm himself down.

"A-ah...?"

Tyki instinctively gathered Haku into his arms, rubbing his back comfortingly like he always did for Road. She had been known to lose control of her abilities in the early days and given herself horrible nightmares. The Noah sighed, glad that Haku seemed to be alright if not a little shaken.

"Oh Haku... are you alright? What...what was that?" He asked, the worry that he felt evident in his voice.

Now Tyki felt even more guilty about absently letting him in on his past. Had all of the blood given him a nightmare? No, of course not. No matter how young and innocent the Shinobi seemed, he was indeed that. A trained killer. They both knew blood, both knew the feeling of someone's life ebbing under their hands. What did it mean?

"It seemed so much pain." He trailed off.

Haku didn't seem to protest this gathering at all, in fact taking to bury his head instead into Tyki's chest until he managed to calm himself down enough to talk and explain what that had been about. It was complicated, but at least he could say something about it.

"That... that was part of my history. The way I had become an orphan. My mother was killed simply because her blood allowed her to create ice and for the same reason I was almost killed by my father and that mob. But I got to them first, in self-defense." His voice slowly trailed off, not exactly sure what else he could say for the situation.

He had already said too much, really, his history was something he cared not to retell unless absolutely necessary. But, considering his little nightmare it had been all too necessary to reveal at least a part.

"Haku... Oh my dear..." He murmured repeatedly, nuzzling the boy's hair and trying to help calm him. It was difficult, knowing these things, but he felt like he was much closer to understanding the young Shinobi. That was something that he liked, appreciated more than he could express in words. The Noah smoothed Haku's ruffled hair some more and felt as though he could share his pain in that moment.

"We have...suffered." He said flatly, his heart showing more of what he felt than his words. Tyki wasn't an unsympathetic person. He was one to mind his own business though, and in this case it was less than impossible. He kissed the boy's forehead and sincere amber eyes watched him.

"I feel like I should thank you...for letting me get this close." He was truly grateful, not used to connections between anyone but the Noah family, particularly with Road and the Twins. It made him sigh, it made him miss them even more. And it was a ping of pain in his heart. But being here with Haku made it a little easier. Just a little.

Without much thought he nuzzled back against him, fingers clutching for whatever he could get a hold of. He had a tight grip and wasn't planning on letting go of him any time soon. Recalling that day was still something of a shock to him, something he had sworn he had buried into the back of his mind and forgot about it until it was necessary to bring it up. But, apparently, this telepathy and this closeness to Tyki was more than enough to bring back those things he had tried to forget. It was hard to do.

"Ah? Why would you need to thank me for such a thing?" The concept made no sense in the shinobi's mind, thanking someone for showing them their weakness. It was entirely a baffling experience that he wasn't sure exactly how to cope with, but slowly he was learning the way for him to cope.

"It is I who should be thanking you," he added as a secondary thought, burying his face back into his arm again. Not thinking really he inhaled his scent, squirming around a little to get comfortable again.
