Kids were funny, Jason reflected as he made his way towards Ed's place, but Ed wasn't like that other kid he talked to, she was sharper, definitely. More fun, if he were allowing himself to think in those terms. And fast. Man, he almost wanted to take her back to Gotham... but then he thought of what the city would do to her sunny disposition. No, he'd stick her in Metropolis or New York, a nice bright place with plenty to do. But he was getting ahead of himself. Escape was a long way away, with his only lead for now being... 'Germany'? Whatever.
He kept an eye out to see if Ed was on the stoop again, but if she wasn't, he'd knock. He had another present for her.
