If you had any interest in this type of gathering, I'd be glad to host you, but as no heads need severing I don't think it will be interesting.

Always happy to help with developing someone's skills. See there is one aspect of your little party that I and many others would find interesting, that would be alcohol. You end up wanting it frequently around here.

No offense, Jedi Mercer, but I'm not interested in hosting a drunken brawl. I'm not intending the night to end with inebriation.

Of course not Senator, wasn't implying that you did. Something like wine is meant to be enjoyed not guzzled, but that won't stop the drunkards from taking interest.

If by the off chance some of the more powerful ones do, I will gladly offer assistance with them. For an appropriate fee, of course.

Good question. I doubt you're up for any conduct unbecoming of a Senator, so I suppose you'd just owe me a favor.

No, I am not interested in a trade of that nature. So long as you remember that the favor is to be reasonable.
