[When the feed turns on, viewers can get a good view of Bucky's living room in the background; he's sitting cross-legged on the floor amongst a few stacks of notes, and he's got a pen stuck behind his ear. Anyone who knows him might notice that he looks a lot more relaxed than usual, and even the slight wrinkles in his face aren't quite as prominent.]
Right, you all saw Shikamaru's announcement last week, I'm sure, and Komui's this week. I stepped up to head the station security team- [There's a clattering noise in the background, and Bucky cringes, but otherwise doesn't react.] I volunteered to head the security team. If anyone has any objections, they're free to air them to me, I'm more than willing to hand over the position if there's someone more qualified than me- [A crash; apparently a lamp tipped over. A child in the background laughs delightedly, and Bucky calls over his shoulder,] Timothy, be quiet for a bit, please.
Yes. Grievances. I'm happy to hear them. Also suggestions and other concerns- [Timothy is seen running across the living room and bounding onto the couch behind Bucky, brandishing a foam-covered wooden sword and carrying a trash can lid.] Settle down, kiddo, dad's trying to work!
Ah, geez, where was I? Right, so. That also means we're recruiting. Whether you have combat experience or not, there's something for everyone to- [The child behind him bounces a few times, then launches himself at Bucky, knocking him over; the older man grunts with the impact, rolling smoothly to keep from falling on the six year old, and scowling slightly.] -do. Timothy Barnes! What did I tell you? You scram, kiddo, I've got business to take care of. Go bug Auntie Carol or Uncle Jim. [Timothy just laughs a little, whacking his father playfully in the head with the foam sword and running off with a shouted, "Got you, dad!"]
Kids, I swear... Okay, recruitment. I'm the one to talk to if you want to enlist. I'll be setting up a meeting for... Friday, possibly, to discuss internal structure and operations, along with coordination with the other teams. If you have any questions, just ask. As soon as I drop my sugar-high kid off at his aunt's I'll be free.
