[Her response shows just a view of her hips, she's busy evaluating the structure of the wall. Her tone conveys her busy attitude.]

To an extent yes. It's just a fleck crest, and I used my bodhi blastia to interact with and activate the formula so that I could open up the wall.

[Shifting the feed, he settles the device on the desk, listening and quiet at the words that don't seem to register.]

Alright... How does a bodhi blastia work? Or-- what is it, exactly?

[Rita closes her eyes and sighs loudly because she already knows that explaining this to someone with no clue about the concept is going to be a total hassle.]

It's a stone of condensed aer inscribed with a formula. [She lifts the berry to her neck to show off the bright red gem in the middle of a golden necklace.]
With it's assistance I can manipulate the aer particles--and mana, I suppose--to perform spell and strike artes through specific formula.

So... If you have the right formula, you can do whatever it is you want with it, I guess?

Not quite. If I wanted to do something like power a streetlight, waterpump or other device, it would need it's own blastia core and a formula to match. I couldn't do that kind of stuff with a bodhi blastia, as the bodhi blastia is primarily used for combat based formula. So no I can't do anything, but I have a lot to work with.

You need the right kind of blastia, then. [Pausing, he shakes his head, grimaces a little while trying to understand the explanation.]

No, yeah, she's insulted. If she were still on Terca Lumireis she's probably just respond with the usual "Do you know who I am?" thing but he obviously has no idea.]
