Possibly, but more than likely he's trying to drive everyone mad. He spreads insanity, it's pretty much what he does.

It's not permanent. Stay away from the spheres and keep people away from them and the insanity will decrease.

The demon and the insanity are two different things. If I went up against it alone, I'd die. The insanity wouldn't be purged that way anyway. Then there'd be no one left to help people.

I am trying to help save as many people from insanity as possible but I can't do that if I'm dead.

If you heard the music, than you had to feel its calming effect. That music is the embodiment of my soul. When I connect with someone, I can transmit that same calm or anti-insanity directly to them.

I know this a lot all at once, and you don't have any reason to take my word, but I am just trying to help. You have to trust me if you want me to save your friend.
