[Well, someone is feeling better. Equius is sitting on the floor of the general store, his face and shirt caked in a strange white powder which, upon closer investigation, members of the facility will realize is powdered milk, as evidenced by the canisters behind him on the shelf.

He looks annoyed, but a good deal more relaxed than he has been,

[Oh Equius, he didn't go anywhere except to clean up after you like he always does. But when Equius inquires after him the centaur quickly returns to Equius's side, a glass of milk already prepared for the troll since he is apparently in need of one.]

Aurthour! Excellent.

[He stands up, and he actually smiles, a little, reaching for the glass. He's a bit tired from his fight with Feferi, yesterday...maybe it won't shatter, this time?]

...I apologize for being short with you. I thought perhaps you had wandered off once we left the mines.

[...He's...actually...holding the glass. This is an achievement. He drinks the milk quickly and gives the glass back to Aurthour, satisfied with his accomplishment.]

[Aurthour smiles kindly at Equius when he drinks the milk, even feeling a bit of pride (to whatever degree a lusus can, of course).

But he truly doesn't mind Equius's attitude - after all, he's taken care of him for the last six sweeps. So for now he simply goes to take care of the empty glass, and then find another task to occupy himself with. If Equius needs him, though, he would be more than happy to stick around.]

[Of course Equius needs him. He looks at him thoughtfully.]

...Someone I know asked if he could meet you. Would you like that, Aurthour? Being introduced to a...friend of mine?

[Equius wants him to meet one of his friends? Well, of course he would be alright with that, it's unlikely he's met many of Equius's acquaintances before, other than Nepeta and Vriska. Aurthour happily nods to show his agreement with this plan.]

[His smile broadens just a little, equally as crooked as it was before.]

I knew you would agree. You don't mind walking a bit, of course. I'll lead you to the proper human hive.

[He gestures toward the door of the store to show Aurthour the way, waiting with surprising patience for his lusus to keep up with him.]

[Aurthour rather willingly follows after his charge, happy that Equius himself is happy and happy to meet one of Equius's friends. And of course once they go he rather easily keeps up with Equius; he may not be as strong as the troll, but he still is of the strongest type of lusus after all.]
