[She's tired. She's about to go to sleep. Give her credit for at least being able to attach a name to the face.]

Suddenly, she does not want to go to bed. There's nothing she feels less like doing than sleeping.
All the things that happened back home, they come rushing back into her mind. Like a floodgate suddenly demolished.
While the things the facility did were undeniably bad, they were at least a way to escape from what happened at home.
Sayaka turned into a witch.
Homura had to kill her.
Mami went insane.
Mami killed Kyouko.
I killed Mami.
Then Homura had to kill me.
She could deny those horrible events all she wanted. She could lie. She could tell all the people she met here, that no her friends didn't go around murdering each other.
But now she could not. Reality punches her in the face, almost.
And by the looks of it, "this" Homura had not experienced anything of that magnitude. Madoka finds herself wondering what point in time she's from. She needs to choose her words carefully. She'll protect her friend's reverie if she can't protect her own.]

[Suddenly Homura is all of the unsures. Any hapiness that she might have had at seeing Madoka is now replaced with uncertainty. She had almost forgotten in her frustration and subsequent joy that she was in a strange place. But it would be alright. Madoka was here. That meant everything would be okay.
