131 - Temari

[The feed starts with a loud bang. The view tumbles for a second before stopping with a tipped and sideways shot of two familiar ninjas. However, this is not how they usually are. Temari is standing in the middle of their shared room, hands fisted at her sides, and yelling.]

[He chuckles a bit, tilting his head curiously]

[She wants to kill him for the flaunting, but at the same time, tea sounds real good so long as it's served in silence.]

[He smiles almost deceptively and cuts the feed. Not more than a minute later, he's in her room, holding tea in his hands. He doesn't announce his presence, quiet as a dormouse]

[She just screwed things up royally with Shikamaru while throwing him out, so she's sitting on the edge of the bed looking exhausted and dejected. She takes the tea with a sigh and a quiet voice.]

[Footfalls quiet, he takes the steps forward to reach her, bending over and extending his hands with his tea. He's even taken the liberty of putting a few pieces of cloth between the cup and sauce so it doesn't clink.

He'll just nod]

[Damn, he's good. She sips at the hot tea and sighs, relieved for something soothing and the silence. Even if that does make sleep tempting.

Her head sinks then pops back up with a grimace. Damn sleep deprivation and damn electric shocks. Her body is trying to force her to sleep, but Val has other ideas.]

It's Friday, right?

[He always has been. He completes orders to the letter, obedient and trainable. Much like a pet, if one would eat you after.

He nods, confirming that it is Friday, and tilts his head at Temari's little head motions. He seems to smile more as if thinking of something]

[Hard to trust a pet that only listens because it gets to eat you later. Her voice is still very quiet, but the perfect butler should have no trouble with that.]
