Sure thing. Gimme a few minutes, yeah?
[He hangs up, and dashes to her room. It takes longer than usual - these wings don't work the way his normal ones do, so he's pretty annoyed that they were replaced - but it's still a rather short time before he arrives, not bothering to knock before opening the door and strolling over to the bed. He's got the teddy in one hand (now sans jacket, but the patch is still there - don't worry, he hasn't removed the eye underneath), and he casually drops it at the end of the bed before sitting down and pressing a hand to her forehead.]
Can't do much about the wings coming out, sorry, but I can manage the pain for a bit. Healing's never been my forte, but I'm just about competent.
[The hand on her forehead is getting quite warm, which would normally be unpleasant, probably, but as it warms up, the pain should begin to diminish.]
[ a nod signaling that she understood what he meant and she lets the device clatter to the floor as she attempts to pick herself up from the ground. He'll probably see her curled on the ground almost clawing at her back with her nails. It was hurting really badly and she didn't want to feel any of it. She'll keep trying though. She hears the door opening as he moves over. Of course her eyes fixed on the bear first thing. She notices that it was her bear. She'll probably ask about it later...... Good, because she would be pretty upset if that happened. His hand felt a little cool when it was placed on her forehead. ]
....it's...fine....
[ any brief moment of serenity she could get from the pain would be more than worth it and now the hand feels really warm....and an uncomfortable type of warm but she deals with it.....and she could feel the pain diminishing.... ]
...get them out....
[ she mused softly. She wanted them out and fast but she probably shouldn't be asking strangers to do it for her. ]
[Aaaand this is why he doesn't usually help strangers out.]
What, the wings?
[His own - his new own, that is, not his normal set - shift restlessly behind him. Not that she's likely to be paying attention to much besides the pain and the wings and all that, but if she were, she'd notice that his are a darkish grey.]
You sure? 'Cause, yeah, it's better to get them out before they get themselves out, but I'm not the most accurate surgeon round here, and it hurts like a bitch. I mean, I can do it, sure, but it might be easier for you if you wait for Dr Watson or someone to come give you a hand with 'em instead...
[ Yeah because they ask him to do crazy things huh? ]
Please....it's freaking hurting my back.
[ she'd rather have them ripped out so they can breathe then have them hurt he consistently like this. The girl groans again. At least it stopped the pain. He had pretty wings though. ]
Just.... do it...I don't care. I'd rather fix it after it comes out then have it hurt like this. If you can please.
[ She's really not in the mood to keep them. ] I can handle it.
Fine, fine. Just don't blame me if you wind up looking like Freddy Krueger gave you a backrub.
[He sighs, and moves to stand behind her so that he can get a better look at what he's doing. Two slits tear themselves neatly in the fabric of her clothes, leaving just about the right space for a set of wings to come out, and he hesitates, just momentarily. Then he seems to get over whatever indecision had apparently been bothering him, and suddenly two circles of skin are missing from her back, just above where the wings would come out; they don't bleed much, surprisingly - perks of having an archangel as a surgeon, even one as generally useless as Gabriel. Wincing, he steps out of the way - he doesn't want to be hit in the face by the wings emerging.]
[ She muttered under her breath as he said that. She doesn't care. Would it matter anymore that she got more scars on her? She's covered in a handful of them anyway. Some of them are fading, others like the bite marks on her neck remained. She waited quietly trying to keep herself calm as he did that When he finally removed the skins from her back, pain erupted and she bit her lip slowly. She allowed the wings to unfold themselves slowly from her back. The pain was unbearable but she was going to deal with it because it was a one time thing.
The wings were quite beautiful almost pristine white, with a faint hint of gray at the tips and covered in blood. She quickly muttered a few incoherent words to pull the skins back together so she wouldn't be bleeding herself to death. At least she could use her voice now. She owed it a lot to Gabriel for loosening the pain she had on her body. ]
[He steps back again, prepared to leave: after all, she seems to have the situation under control now, and he's not entirely comfortable with doing something so unpleasant to someone he doesn't feel deserves it, even if it is for their own good.]
[ She's trying to control her breathing quietly as he stepped back but she didn't want him to feel like he was at fault. she asked him to do it so it wasn't his fault that this happened. It was her own fault. ]
...I think so....thank you.
[ She replied with a small smile. ]
Don't feel bad about it okay? It's not your fault. I asked for it myself.
Just Gabriel, and it's still no problem. See you 'round, huh?
[He waves rather lazily, and his wings move - preparing to leave, it seems, but he stops the movement with a rather startled look. He's used to his own wings; these are weird. Instead, he grins, almost sheepishly, and strolls out instead.]
[ she doesn't know that because she wasn't the one that gave it to him. ]
....p-please.
[ Yeah curling in even more pain....this is so irritating. She's really frustrated. ]

Thank you.
[ She wants to ask about the bear... ]

[If he knew that was what she wanted to ask, he'd reply... but, unfortunately, he doesn't.]
Well, if that's all, honey...
