[The feed turns on as Harry's 'berry hits the ground, falling from his limp hand and filming him walking unsteadily out of the frame.
After a few seconds, a wet black nose dominates the corner of the screen, and then Hazard picks up the 'berry, the pink inside of his mouth taking up a good third of the screen area, following after Harry with a tentative whine.
The pair walk, the tall man seemingly oblivious of the dog's presence. He walks, and he walks, until he reaches the near-perfectly hidden edge of the facility, putting his hand out to touch its smooth, unyielding surface.
There is a behavior observed in trapped animals. An unfortunate psychological condition resulting in the deaths of hundreds of zoo animals and circus attractions every year. It's been speculated that there is a simple psychological need to escape confinement, overriding all personal preservation or survival instinct.
Harry takes a step back, then slams forward into the wall with an audible crunch, generally swinging his fists but not seeming to care what part of him impacts the wall, at what angle with what force. it's an ugly display from the start, and after just a few blows, he's leaving bloody marks behind.
The camera drops to the ground, and Hazard begins to bark urgently, rushing forward to do what he can to stop his master from doing whatever he's doing. The feed catches him clinging doggedly to the ankle of his jeans, but Harry doesn't even seem to notice.
He's done listening to reason. He's finished. There is him, there is the barrier, there is pain. Things he can understand. The feed goes on like that for as long as anyone can stand to watch and listen.
