[Oh, now here's a strangely familiar face. This concerned looking gentleman is sitting in the biodome alone, looking a bit awkward as he speaks to the camera, trying to speak without moving his lips too much. The scars tend to make things difficult, and though the makeup hides them well, they do odd and disconcerting things to his face at times and

You're an experiment? I'm sorry, I don't think we've met. Mohinder Suresh. Did you wake with that?

Had a bit of a...hard time a while back. [The scars twist his face strangely as he smiles] Therapy helped, but a lot of it was pack up, start over. All I can remember of who I was is general details, and my stage name from when I was a comedian.
I don't think we have met. I know this place, I know...some of the people... But I woke up with this. I don't know.

A comedian? Ah, interesting. Perhaps we could use a bit of laughter in this place. It's good to meet you, Jack.
[He's curious about those scars, but he'd never ask.]

Maybe. Mostly I'm worried about the folks stuck here... the ones without any abilities to protect them. The people they've driven mad, whatever they've done... they're already hurting people.
And yet the superheroes and.. and knights in shining magic armor aren't doing a thing about it. They're hiding, like they always do.
[He sighs]
Don't you ever just wish you could do...something? Something special, like them, just for once.

I.. Well, it's something you're born with. I'm not quite as lucky unfortunately. But I'm sure I could do some good if I had an ability. I certainly wouldn't hide, as you said, [as he's been doing!] away.

What's the difference between a guy like us and one of those super guys? Huh? A costume? A.... code-name? The powers, yeah, but some of them don't even have that.
And then I think.. "jack, you're nuts. That's just..." I don't even know. Something talking. Something I'd be an idiot to listen to.

[His laugh is bitter.]
People with abilities that aren't using them to figure out a way to save us...don't deserve them.
[Ouch, and yes, he does mean Sylar too.]

[He sighs, shaking his head, his own laughter matching Mohinder's tone]
We're reasonable men. We can at least do what we can with this week. The children, the others like us... we should make sure they're safe somehow.

There must be others that think like we do.

[Jack's walking through the hallways now, muttering "thirty-one, thirty two...."]
Sorry, I'm just.. [he laughs] not the, not the best multitasker in the world. One of the folks they made crazy with the experiment was complaining about a dog so I agreed to take it for the week, maybe I can't save people from horrible magic but I sure as hell can make sure nothing bad happens to some little dog.

Sylar?
[He's already pulling open the door as Jack arrives. His smile is a little bit broken.]
I think I'm the dog.

oh. I'm..I'm sorry, sir, it's clear he's not himself, I didn't mean-
I thought there was really a dog, I meant no disrespect I assure you...
Reply
No. It's fine. No, actually. It's not fine. But-- what did you mean? He's not... What? Not real?

There are a few people who seem to be affected by the experiment. I would bet he's among them. not himself. I'm sure he's a perfectly fine man ordinarily. I mean. He called you a dog. [Joker shrugs] Doesn't seem like normal behavior to me.
Ah...
Does it?

I've noticed people on the network keep mentioning puppets... Oh God, do you think you--
[He says things he shouldn't and instantly regrets them.]
Come in, you should come in. I'm sorry, that was callous.

I'm not enough of a fool not to realize there's something off about all this.
I bleed, i think, I... I don't feel like a puppet, but.
That note said I was an experiment.
I know how long experiments last.
