Extremely intoxicated, and there seems to be a... a thing in my room. A furry, little... thing[The camera wobbles a little as though he nearly dropped it on the floor ( Read more... )

[No video for you, she sounds like crap]

It's not a hallucination. Apparently this is the experiment this week. A lot of people have acquired new pets.

Hmm. Delightful. I wonder if these things are... safe to be around?

Given the track record here, I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up being dangerous. I don't know. I wasn't given one. But you should be fine if you just listen to what Val said. Or maybe hand it off to someone else.

Yes, for once I think following Val's rules will be beneficial. But...

[A long pause, a thump, and a muffled curse. Apparently, he tripped over something in his room]

Do you... think they bite?

Unless it's a trick. But I can't see what she'd gain from this particular trick. Either way, it's probably best to just listen to her this once.

Maybe? They look like some kind of animal and if you irritate any animal, they're going to bite.

It's actually rather... cute, I suppose. If you really look at it.

But not everybody has one?

Maybe a bit. For a strange creature that we're not really sure we can trust. Though I haven't really gotten a good look atone.

Apparently not. I know I didn't. Unless it's hiding in here somewhere.

Well, perhaps you shall avoid any sort of damage this experiment may cause. Lucky.

Ha, I've got plenty of damage from last week to deal with as it is. And I won't avoid it if any of my suitemates ended up with one. [They all kind of wander into each other's rooms when they please]

What sort of damage from last week?

[At this point, he can't even remember what last week was]

Injuries. Nothing I can't handle and nothing that's out of the ordinary for me. It was an odd week.

Injuries? I'm sorry, that's unpleasant, no matter how capable you may be.

It's fine. I can handle it and I've had worse before. Just another day, really. Besides, you can't expect anything less in a place like this.

That's true, I suppose, but I haven't quite grown accustomed to being injured yet.

It's not something you really want to get used to. In fact, it's something that you really want to avoid at all costs. But that's not always possible.

It might make things a bit easier to handle, though.
