[Rider will be waiting, in her room, lying face down in her bed. She looks defeated.]

[Dash trots over, walking into her room without knocking, balancing the ear bits on her wing] Hey-- Rider?

[Unfortunately for Dash, Rider is still horribly deaf. And she's not looking at the doorway.

So no response from her.]

[Dash tilts her head, but trots over to her, pushing up so her front hooves are on the bed and she pokes her]

[Ah, there we go. Rider's startled by the abrupt poke, and jumps up, skidding out of bed into a fighting stance--]

[--but then as soon as she sees the rainbow mane, she relaxes, and reaches for her communicator.]

My apologies. I was startled.

[Dash jerks back, but grins a moment later] It's cool! I brought your ear thingy.

[She ducks down so Rider can grab it from her back]

[Rider slooowly makes her way back into a standing position, very gingerly taking the organ, and wrapping it in a towel she had procured.]
