He'd been fighting the effects of the chemicals in the air since reset, but it was becoming harder and harder to keep his focus, especially with the probabilities and possibilities his implants were churning out were becoming more and more appealing

[Have a sleepy looking Yachiru practically nesting in the blankets on her bed next door, and peering at the video with mild interest - it's proof the chemicals are getting to her, the fact that she isn't pounding down Midnighter's door to see what's up.]

[In the background, Colin does not look himself. He was normally tense in situations like this but right now he was perfectly calm if not eerily so. Hearing the other speak though, there are sparks of his former self as he looks towards the screen and leans more against his proverbial sibling, head flopping against her shoulder, eyes void of much life.] Yachiru--

What's goin' on? Who are you talkin' to?

[Yachiru stifles a yawn and snuggles up to Colin to show him the 'berry. Big brother is comfy.] Middy. He's on the screen. See?

[Looking into the device he pauses and looks at the face of the other--it takes him a moment to realize that it's him and his reply comes soon after.] Oh--it's Midnighter.
