You've been abducted and taken to a torture Facility based in a spacestation. It's a severely dubious sort of honor, actually.

If you're familiar with doctors, you're going to fit right on in, trust me.

(No, this is not a joke, by the way.)

Why exactly should I trust an anonymous texter who informs me I'm in a 'torture facility'? You seem to have given me every reason in the world to distrust you.

Because I know that what I'm saying is indeed fact. I don't necessarily see the need to attempt to convince you with any sort of hamfisted prose whipping it's limbs under a bedsheet like a retarded ghost.

And I do very much appreciate it, let me assure you. But a name would perhaps garner more trust. I suspect I've made you up, so the very least you can do is give me something to call you until I can figure my way out of here.

Have you encountered a man named Butler here? On the of chance that you and this place aren't entirely made up of course.

Butler? Sorry, nobody here goes by that name.
There's only around...160 of us at any given time. Some people are terminated and incinerated, and some stick around.

I suppose that's a good thing, though I could use his assistance.

...Did I read that correctly? Incinerated?

Correct. Like broken toys to a mother's wastebasket, the subjects deemed unfit for further study are incinerated at the end of each week. There is usually always at least one or two, sometimes even more than that. Every month we get new residents to replace the terminated, such as yourself.

This is quite the high states experiment, isn't it. Thank you, Ms. Lalonde, you've been most helpful. If this isn't a dream I may call on you again.
