On the plus side, this doesn't look half as bad as the last time I got my stomach cut open. Must have been one hell of a piece of shrapnel or something.

You ran into the clinic like a damn idiot and got hit. The Reavers . . . I tried to shoot you, but I don't think it hit. I had to defend my patients, or at least the ones that were left.

[He bites his lip]

Maybe it's better I don't remember any of it, if those things took me alive. [He shivers a little. all those tiny, extremely painful injuries all over him.. he had no doubt now about where those came from.]

[Harry opens the door for her, smiling despite his injuries. A few feet away, at about head height, Hazard is trying and failing to greet one of his favorite friends, though not for lack of trying. His legs are flailing wildly, and Harry gives him a little pat on the behind in the right direction, and Hazard starts moving towards her, doing slow somersaults in the air]
