[Mindy looks up, launching herself into the hallway and passing into the rec room]
There should be bandages and whatever painkillers are left oveer from Haven in your suite common room. I can patch you up so you don't die before a healer gets to you.
[She swings through a doorway, somersaulting through the rec room and gaining a streamer of bandages as she goes, shouting gleefully to herself]
KHAAAAAAAAAN!

Yeah. It was just a statement. "you know, I could totally fix you if I wanted to." What kind of planet full of douchebags do you come from?

[He looks up a little as she flips in; he's impressed, but not enough to put much strain on his quite recently slit neck. That logic ought to stop him talking, too, but he's not good at shutting up.
His injuries aren't particularly visible any more, for the most part - Dean's just come by and done some as-yet-unspecified hunter-style first aid. Which means it most likely involved a penknife, a handkerchief and a lot of whiskey, and not much else.]
Uh, kinda awkward, but a guy already stopped by. Not that I don't appreciate the help, but I dunno if there's anything else to do.
[He's no expert - usually injuries are things that happen to other people, as far as he's concerned. He looks vaguely apologetic, if it's any help.]

[she rips off some of the bandage and pours a little water from a bottle she had clipped to her belt, doing her best to clean up the neck injury, because that looked the worst]
This is gonna hurt like a bitch. Keep your mouth shut and don't move while I do it.

[He takes the pill - albeit rather clumsily since his right fingers didn't quite heal right, and he can't raise his left arm - and swallows it dry. He looks slightly bewildered, but settles for just doing as he's told. It's easier.]

[probably.]
Here, I'm gonna wrap you back up and you should be good to not move for the next couple days. Seriously, don't go ripping any of this open, that'd suck.

...that's a joke, right?
[He raises his eyebrows. It doesn't hurt at all, so he figures he might be doing a lot of that this week, if only to fend off boredom.]
Do I look like I'll be going anywhere? [He shrugs with the shoulder that's not a mess.] Thanks, kid.

Don't worry. The medicine works most of the time. Like... Ninety percent. You'll be fine.

[Laugh it up, Mindy.]

You'll be fine, you big baby. Just a couple inches of skin and stuff, it's not that important.

[He also wants to protest that they're talking more than just a couple of inches, but he's not sure they're still talking about the same few inches. And if they are, it's not a discussion he wants to have with a little girl.]
