[ There's a light crackle of noise at first, and blackness, the light sound of almost fabric rubbing echoing through the microphone before the ceiling is suddenly in view and half of Charles' face in addition to that. ]

...Are you alright, there? Do you- will you stay put - do you need any help?

[It's hard to speak while his own feed is playing hide and seek, but Clark tries his best]

[ Charles is appriciative, really he is. A faint but anxious smile, he's trying to be friendly all the while trapped in what looks like some arid western. ]

Perhaps-- I'm curious as to what exactly is going on-- and where everyone is?

[He managed to hold the berry down, enough for the feed to stop moving for now.]

The berries seem to have gained some kind of... well, they are apparently sentient now. It is not usually like this.

I think it would be better to talk face-to-face, if that is alright with you? I'm Clark, by the way. Clark Kent.

Pleasure Clark. [ He replies in a friendly tone, half of his face visible as he crouches over his pinned device. ] I'm Charles Xavier.

Face to face would be lovely-- I'm around, a-- ah-- barber shop? That's the best guess I've got-- I can't really see anyone in the area.

Don't worry, I will find you. I should be there in a few minut- wait what are are you-

[And the feed cuts, because the berry tried to bite Clark and got broken. This is why we do not bite Superman, kids at home.]

[ He stares for a moment at the screen, watching the static of the feed before he let out a soft sigh to himself, deciding it would be best to stay put because if they were both wandering they could obviously miss each other.

While he waits he sees it as an opportunity to try and wrangle the little thing into his vest again so it would refrain from biting him. ]

[Finding people is way easier with superhearing! Clark is there in a matter of minutes]

Oh-- hullo! [ He sounds distinctively British and surprised. He offers a anxious smile, ] Quite quick there. Though, thank you for coming, I seem to be at a loss currently.

It's not a bother, really. Not to rush you or anything, Charles, but it's not pretty safe to just stand in there in the middle and unprotected.

[He does a quick check with his x-ray and doesn't find anything weird, so he'll assume he is not a metahuman... but one never knows.]

We should find a safehouse. I promise I will explain everything once we're safe.

[ He frowns a little bit as he glances to the side, curious about what he needed to be protected from. ]

Alright, lead the way-- I'll follow your lope so to speak.

[He smiles as he starts leading him to one of the safe-houses around.]

I'm sorry if this comes out as rude, but- you're not American, are you?

[ Charles picks up his pace a little to keep up, being a short bloke wasn't always easy. ]

Ah, not rude it's fine, and I am, partially anyway. I moved to the states, Westchester New York as a youth, but then back to Oxfordshire to get my doctorate, so you could say I'm a bit of both. Dual-Citizenship and all that. Why?
