People did it because they care for you. I still have all your pictures by the way, hung up where I said I would.

Still. You guys were all really nice. I appreciate it. And I appreciate no one telling me the truth.

[But then she laughs a bit, shaking her head]

Oh god, you do? I'm sure I was a total handful last week.

Yeah--I think it was better that way--you got to have your fun and well--Bucky and Dick both had theirs. [He looks mildly annoyed before smiling.]

I have--a good handful of them, it's nice to have some decoration through. I really like the way you drew me, you have talent.

It was better. It was only a week so there was really no sense upsetting me, right? Besides, it was nice to think everything was okay for a week. And yeah, I remember them kidnapping me and taking me to their pillow fort.

That is sickeningly adorable. How did you even put with me?

Yeah--that was my personal opinion. Asides, with a face like yours it was hard to upset it with reality. And yeah--the pillow fort, I wasn't pleased, they freaked me out. [AKA: he was pissed.]

Really easily, actually. You were a pretty good kid, you listened to my singing and it put you to sleep--which I am not sure is a good thing but it worked. [He teases.]

Yeah, I bet. They were just messing around though. It's not like I got hurt.

I sort of remember that. You're a good babysitter. And I didn't fall asleep because your singing is bad. You're really good, actually.

Still--they could have not lied.

I was just teasing you--the whole purpose was a lullaby, you know.

They were teenage boys. Lying is basically what they do. No offense, of course.

I know. And it worked. You're sweet.

No offense taken--I guess I was little more than stressed out. [He smiles.] I wanted to make sure you were safe, and all that.

I don't blame you. But I'm fine, back to normal and totally healthy, so no harm done right? I'm sure they'll both apologize to you soon anyway.

They don't need to, I completely understand it's not like they could help it and asides--you're safe and that's what matters most.

Too bad! They're going to because I say so. [That is a totally valid reason for someone to do something] What did they do to you last week, if you don't mind me asking?

And hopefully they'll listen, they would be wise to. [He doesn't doubt that.]

Oh--they just freaked me out hiding you and then I had to break Bucky off of Alex.

You had to...? What did Bucky do to Alex?

He put him in a headlock for insulting his integrity or something. Had him pinned to the ground when I showed up.

...Yeah, that sounds like Bucky. It was probably over something stupid. Alex okay?
