[he glances over (he's doing a good job of this pet owner thing already, given how quickly he forgot about the duck) before nodding]

[Feferi isn't going to admit she's a little concerned about Eridan taking care of anything, including himself, but it was very sweet of him. Even if she's making a mental not to check up on the duck every once and a while.]

Well... I guess that's true. And I am pretty awesome at everythin', so, I don't really see how I couldn't do a good job of this.

[he just watches when she goes to talk to the duck (because really it's just Fef being Fef), but when she calls his things weird, well, he's not going to stand for that.]
