[Minako is sitting curled up in front of a fire somewhere in the Mysterious East. Her eyes are red rimmed, and her expression downcast. She’s taking the news of Mitsuru’s termination hard. It isn’t long before there’s a warping of shadows appears behind her, due to Ryoji being able to pick up on her less-than-stellar mood. He could feel the throbbing within his chest, indicating to him that she was upset. He approached her and then crouched down next to her.]
It’s not a good feeling, is it?
[He smiles rather sadly at her, and moves into a sitting position.]
I’m sorry, Minako...
[She touches her forehead to her knees, her bangs hiding her eyes.]
She was so much stronger than me...she’s always been. And they took her away so easily--
[A sob leaves her, her shoulders trembling. She knows it's okay to show this side of her to him.]
I didn’t even get a chance to say goodbye this time...!
[Ryoji sighs, really, desperately wanting to pull her into a hug and hold the girl who had given him life, close and tell her that everything will be alright, and that Mitsuru is okay. But he can’t bring himself to touch her, afraid she might get stricken with some of his bad memories.]
I’m sure she knows you care about her, and that you wanted to say goodbye, Mina-chan.
[He sits quietly next to her, silently noting the very absence of Mitsuru’s energy, and how in addition to her, he could no longer feel Shinjiro either. It would probably be best if he didn’t mentioned the other’s disappearance.]
Please, don’t cry. Mitsuru wouldn’t want you to cry for her.
[The feed times out as Minako continues to quietly cry.]
