James: 16 [Accidental Joint Video]

[The feed turns on to the three Marauders, back to back, spells shooting out of their wands as each tries to utter the incantations in the shortest amount of time. All three are very pale, mouths set in tight white lines. Sirius is the first to crouch over in pain, gripping his wand so tightly that his knuckles to turn white.]

Bloody hell, I need to learn to do these spells without talking. [For a moment he looks as if he might puke all over the ocean floor before he stands back up.]

[Remus’ gaze flickers concernedly to Sirius for a moment, but quickly he focuses back on the area in front of him. With a wave of his wand, he mutters another incantation, gritting his teeth against the pain it causes] Protego Totalum.

Cave Inimicum. [James speaks it through gritted teeth, eyes nearly watering with the pain of it, but he keeps his resolute stance and mutters to Sirius] Better shut up then.

[The oldest Marauder tosses a glare in James’ direction.] Bite me, Potter. Muffliato. [With that there’s a buzzing sound making it impossible to hear anything else they might be saying.]
