those who are being horribly injured when they speak are in the right not to. some of us, like myself, are refraining from doing so out of not wanting to offend anyone.

What's wrong with fear? Some people know that injury is going to result when they speak, or know they will hurt others. Why do you act as if this is a bad thing?
