[Knives turns on her faciliberry, the camera work more shaky and naseua inducing than that movie Cloverfield, because she at the moment is trying to outrun a giant-ass crab who's shooting cannon balls at her. While smoking a cigar. While being submerged in water.

It definitely doesn't help that giant, solid text boxes keep falling on top of her ( Read more... )

I'm over here!

[If Roxas walks a few more feet, he'll see the owner of the voice calling out from behind a strange flat, black box with lettering on it, her head just peaking through its edge.

She had enough strength to push off the box that landed on top of her in the video and roll away enough before the second box could hit her when she called out for Roxas.

But now she's stuck between the both of them. Sigh, this really isn't her day.]

[Roxas takes a bit to see her, and when he does he rushes over... probably a bit slower than he should. His punishment, every time he speaks, is to feel like nothing. Why should he be here? He's not even real.

Luckily, it passes by the time he kneels next to her, and he holds up a text reading:] i'm gonna move those before i heal you okay? it's more important.

[Knives reads the text, and nods her head in understanding. She even gives him a very enthusiastic thumbs-up that clearly says "DO IT DO IT DO IT".

She does not want to be stuck for any longer than she has to.]

[Roxas smiles back at her, stands up... and really the kid is scrawny and doesn't look like he should be able to lift the box off her like that but, well, he did. And shoves it rolling away like it's only mildly heavy and very little trouble. Same with the other, just to get it out of the way]

[Eyes wide as saucers, she watches Roxas lifts those bosses like a boss, amazed and slightly envious. Seriously, where does he even keep the muscle to do this stuff.

Once she's freed, Knives attempts to sit up, but immediately lies back down again, biting back a pained groan. The jerky movement aggravates the side wound she received last week from a really angry Samurai Wasp that she ran into (and barely escaped from).

She patched it up the best she could with the limited supplies she had, but her rashness opened the cut and now it's bleeding again.

In addition to that, she has smaller cuts, scrapes, and bruises she accumulated over the week fighting monsters. Nothing as serious like the side wound, but still pretty annoying to deal with.

...Although, that burn on her leg that she just got from one of the crab's cannon balls doesn't look too good either.

tl;dr she is a mess, Roxas. HALP PLEASE.]

[Roxas bites his lip, falling to his knees beside her. A gentle hand on her shoulder is a signal to keep down, don't move, wait for him to look her over and heal her.

Normally, he'd cast the spell first. But this week, when it causes.... well, he's focusing on the bleeding, mopping up the blood with extra padding and bandages he always keeps in his bag. It's easy enough to disinfect and clean the wound before wrapping it again, and he rubs the same disinfecting salve on the burn on her leg afterwards. The other wounds aren't serious enough to give that much attention, but healing will help.

Healing, which he really doesn't want to do, and his trepidation shows on his face as he looks up at her, biting his lip.

Well, it's now or never.] Heal. [The word causes green light to surround Knives and sink into her skin, healing a little more than 20% of the total damage to her body.

At the same time, emptiness sweeps through him like a cold wind, erasing all feeling and meaning and worth. His eyes go blank, his hands fall slack, because ( ... )

[Knives does her best not to make a sound or squirm too much when Roxas starts treating her wounds. While she's used to pain and injury due to her training, she's not quite used to being this seriously hurt to the point that she needs rely on another person's help.

It's weird being a patient after all the times she played healer.

It's even weirder being healed by magic.

Her eyes widen in astonishment as she becomes surrounded in green light and her wounds start to magically heal. She isn't 100% percent all fixed, but man she feels tons better than she did minutes ago.

She inwardly sighs with relief, and turns towards Roxas to thank him with a smile when she notices the odd expression on this face. The emptiness in his eyes.

Concerned, she takes one of his hands into her own and gives it a reassuring squeeze. It's not much, but she hopes the gesture will help him.]

[Roxas doesn't notice, at first- too caught in feeling like nothing, not even a feeling-- but after a while some light starts to come back into his eyes and he gasps through his nose, quiet but startled. Blue eyes flicker to Knives. For a moment he looks terrified, but too soon it's gone and Roxas is shaking his head.

It's fine.]

[From Knives' perspective, it doesn't seem all that fine. Still concerned, she gives his hand another squeeze before letting it go.

She then fishes her faciliberry out of her pocket, and types the following message:]

thank you so much! you don't even know how much i appreciate your help, dude.

are you ok, btw?

[She shows him the screen, worry still clear on her face.]

[Knives furrows her eyebrows, not really understanding what he means. But she'll take his word for it. She types back:]

i'm fine! feeling way better than i did before. i just need to rest for a few more minutes and i'll be good to go.]

[She smiles to emphasize her point.]

besides, i'm tough. i can handle alot of things.
