Alex has the 'berry on hand but he's pointing it away from himself, rather than having it in his pocket. Scouting the halls, he takes a breath in.] I haven't seen him since that week with punching anyone on good terms with you

[Not quiet, but there's a deal of respect in his voice. He had a good deal of wonder towards the witch boy.] Klarion was terminated. You didn't realize?

[It's a slow reply, but his voice stays level.]

I don't pay much attention to those reports. Shame on me, I suppose.

[testing:] ...I know you two were friends.

You know a lot of things, Tim. Whatever happens on these devices doesn't get erased.

[Defensive, yup.]

[He's only browsing the channels at this point before he comes across the others feed. With a pause, he watches it curiously as of course Klarion's lack of existence for the last few weeks had been troubling him as well. The last he had heard of him was two weeks ago and since that was a personal hell for everyone, he figured the other might need recovery time. Yet, noting the spotless room and the neatly folded sheets--Timothy realizes that time alone might imply something more intense, something that is more permanent than just a break or the coma that some slip into here. A breath and he does not even reply to the video, simply stands up, pockets the device and hurries out of his room and into the halls, his breath catching up as his feet hurry to where he knows Klarion lived--

Without a knock, he opens the door into the common room and looks around, seeing the open door and follows the path to the doorway, seeing Alex within. After catching a breath he speaks.]

Alex.

[There's a part of him that doesn't want to look through the room because he knows he won't find anything, but a smaller part of him wants to assume this is a joke. So he just sits against the wall, draws his knees up and takes in a breath, counts to ten. He jerks at the voice, looks up. Swallows the lump in his throat.]

[He pauses and swallows a breath, the rise and fall of his chest calming, eyes glancing around the area because well--there was a general like of Klarion, he was more than just an acquaintance and likely the first to leave that was someone of worth to Timothy. Still--Alex, he looked to him and paused, walking over quietly and looking down. The tone that follows is hesitant to state the obvious but he is not sure he has anything else to say.]

He's gone.

[A nod, he looks over and exhales. This is something to expect, isn't it? Damn his lack of attentiveness, that lack of caring to look at that stupid list and assume that everyone he found himself leaning towards would be here with him until he had to go home, if he could. A hand to the back of his head and Alex straightened up.]

I figured. He left you something.
