[John's trying to get the picture right, adjusting the communicator, when the feed starts.  He looks pretty terrible, large bruises all over his neck, some scratches down his face.]

Right, hello again.  I'm actually starting to understand how this works.  Miss the laptop actually.  I know you can blog on these things but my fingers are bad with the ( Read more... )

I'm pretty sure the point is more along the lines of us beating the crap out of each other. Call me a cynic, but I doubt our charming hosts are tripping over themselves to have us develop our interpersonal communication skills.

I agree with Sherlock. I think you oughtta stop, too.

[Not that he looks annoyed at all - just amused (and slightly worse for the wear).]

Or, here's this, listen closely, you don't have to watch my blogs. They're not mandatory.

My momma always taught me that ignoring people was rude.

I do, in all sincerity, sympathize with your mother.

Actually I'd say it's the opposite.

Most of the experiments I've heard of have been trying to isolate people, break them, turn them into... weapons, maybe.

Now, would I say that this week maybe had the effect you're talking about, whether they wanted it or not?

Maybe.

Doesn't actually seem to be doing a great job of isolating anyone. Took a walk around and saw lots of mess. Obviously, there have been some get togethers of people that even more obviously care about each other.

Suppose that's the difference between intention and results, huh? To be honest, seems like we've been kidnapped by a bunch of fucking morons.

I didn't mean physical isolation, I meant mental. They want people to get scarred by this, and isolate themselves from the people they've learned to care about. But it hasn't exactly worked out that way, has it?

From what I've heard, worse has happened and no one has been experiencing all that much mental isolation. In fact, looking back over the feeds, it's easy to conclude that the experiements bring people together.

There's not always a point. But the open communication thing? Yeah, don't think that's gonna work if you're in the same room.

You'd be amazed what a little surgical tape can do.

What did you do, tape your friends' hands together?

Sort of. We both did. Bit hard to throw punches that way. Stay out of each other's hair during the day... It just works for us. But then again, we've an odd relationship. We became friends over a serial killing spree last year.

If it was any place other then here? Maybe.

The point is just pain, here.

Pain, no denying that! :)

That's....

Alright. I'm not particularly sure how to take that. I don't think I've seen many people here so excited at the possibility of being hurt here.

What's wrong with telling people you're opinions, man? You live in a free country too! England's not that much of a jerk.
