You mean in the "I wanna bash your brains out you stupid jerk I love you" kind of way? [SOMEONE looks beat up. Black eye, swollen lip, red and bruised cheek... He and Canada were not kind to each other this morning. He's also pouting just slightly.]

Canada and I bunk together. [And doesn't that say it all. Alfred picks up a cup of coffee from the table where he's sitting in the cafeteria] Scrawny jerk is stronger than he looks. He hides in that stupid hoodie, I swear, an' ambushes you.

That explains it. I guess the experiment this week is wanting to hurt the people you care about.

It's never a good idea to judge people's strength based on how they look. [Because looking at her, you wouldn't think she'd be any sort of threat. But you'd be wrong] Maybe one of you should find somewhere else you can stay this week.

[Of course he just devolves into muttering about that, something about "Canada," "hockey," "maple syrup attack," and "bears." But you know.] Yeah, I got a few good hits in too, by the way! Already decided we'd take turns sleeping on the couch. Him first 'cause I won.

I'm sure you did. I'm glad you guys worked out some kind of system. I've already had to send my roommate [Boyfriend. Start using that word more] to stay with someone else for the week. It wasn't a fun morning.

... [He glances up at the ceiling, suddenly] Val that wasn't a challenge. [GLARE.] So you're okay, though?

I'm fine. Mostly. I just have to live with a guy I don't really like for the week. But I guess that's for the best.

[He offers her a sheepish grin, which quickly morphs into a determined look] There seriously has to be something that can stop this. Anything. What if everyone like strapped pillows to themselves? Like giant fluffy armor!

That's true. At least no more than usual. [She just kind of stares at him for a minute when he suggests that before finally laughing a bit. Oh Alfred] I'm all for finding a way to make this week easier but I'm not sure that's it. I mean, wouldn't the other person be able to just take the pillows off if they really wanted to hurt you?
