Oh, for the love of--
The transmission starts off with him talking with his partner in what appears to be a kitchen…of a house that the two seem to share. It’s never said, but it’s implied. He’s preparing the older man his coffee while he’s being lectured. Adachi is taking it with an unsettled kind of smile. Dojima’s voice is muddy, while his own is even stranger. In sharp contrast to how detailed the settings are, most of the dialogue is unintelligible at best. Their voices blend together at times, and most of the speech is far too silly to even make sense.
Abruptly, as he’s turning to hand Dojima his mug, he finds himself staring at an odd sight.
A cabbage has replaced Dojima’s head.
Adachi drops the mug in surprise and immediately braces for Dojima to yell at him afterwards. Nothing comes. He decides to chance touching Dojima’s new cabbage head. It’s at this point that he realizes that this isn’t Dojima anymore. A new sort of smile twists across his face.
As he pries this new creature’s head off his body, blob-ish creatures pour forth from the hole. The walls start peeling away as the setting changes. The next few minutes are of Adachi walking around with the cabbage. He’s talking to it while it says nothing, yet he seems content. People in his dream don’t look at him funny for it. In fact, he’s the only person in his dream. Everywhere he goes with the cabbage, they’re the only two there. The amusement park he visits is completely empty, yet he still gets service in order to ride on a ferris wheel.
Near the end of the ride, as he’s moving to get off the ferris wheel, he turns to the cabbage. Instead of seeing the cabbage, however, Dojima’s head is there. It screams at him as their stares lock, “Dumbass! What the hell are you doing? You killed me!"
The feed cuts with Adachi screaming as the ferris wheel underneath him crumbles.
