7th Tome [Second Dream]

It is night, or at least...dark. Yet somehow sight is still possible, and it's clear after a while that this is supposed to be some other dimension. Scraggly trees on rock, twisted patterns made similar to canyons and outgrowths... Red tinged stars lie in the background, like pinpricks of light and a red-silhouetted sun.

There are tiny, almost comically cute versions of tiny black ravenesque-birds sitting on trees. There is a figure in a green cape, familiar to Facility only in that she wears blue usually. Punching, kicking, shadow-boxing against the rocky landscape. Watching her is another figure--also familiar save for the pink cape. The one in the pink cape is clearly the one speaking, voice familiar but with far more emotion than usual in it.

"That's one thing I'm actually liking about this experiment, you get to know people! Not that we didn't know people, and we do, but you get to know people this way."

Green does a very vicious spinning kick, cape flying in counter-point to the smooth twist of her legs and body, smirking at Pink. "Yeah, and we're also getting back into training. That'll be good to do.

Another figure--in a yellow cloak and cowl where blue usually is, and with glasses, sits under a tree with a book in her lap. She speaks next, voice not a monotone, but with inflections for emotion held back. "Except that we're also subject to these same details, and besides! Dreams are hardly reliable ways to understand the subconscious. Even if Freud pioneered the idea, there's more to the subconscious than just what shows up in dreams. And they're notoriously layered in symbolism, archetypes, meaning-specific-to-context, memor"

"SHUT UP." Both Pink and Green respond, before Yellow can continue her speech. There's a faint hint of a sniffle, and very big indigo eyes that are wide from a gray-caped figure. "Um..."

"WHAT!?!" The other 3 turn to Gray, who's eyes just get wider as she sniffs again. "Um...well...I think we're being broadcast too. Is...is that....alright?"

The shock is kind of comical, actually, on the faces of all of them but Gray. All turn in unison to face some unseen viewer, as do the tiny raven-birds in the trees.
