[Adachi should be hearing a knock at his door, Kharg headed over as soon as he saw the broadcast. There's blood, so he wasn't going to waste any time.]

I just barely got my room sealed in time... [There's some shuffling before Adachi opens the door. He doesn't even waste a smile. He's completely gnawed his bottom lip to a bleeding pulp and there are two long scratches going across his face. He's also been crying, apparently.] I'm sorry I keep on calling you. [But he speaks with no emotion at all.] But, yeah, this is serious.

[Kharg's worried enough to completely wipe his expression as he steps in the door, studying Adachi worriedly. He's not going to waste any time getting straight to the point.] What happened?

I fucked up really bad... [He moves back to let Kharg inside.] But if you're talking about my face, I did that. [He smiles wryly.]

[He is far too used to this situation than anyone his age should be.] What did you do? [He raises an eyebrow, he'll treat it as soon as he figures out what is going on.]

I talked to Stein. [He closes the door and locks it just in case before leaning against it.] I...well. [He hasn't been forcing his smiles most of the time with Kharg, and that makes his even more difficult.] I...really like danger, and he brought up a video...

[He blinks, looking more confused by the second.] On the same side? [Kharg nods.] Yes, Darc's part of the reason the warning poster was sent out. [And he fully plans to take revenge sooner or later, he's just biding his time.]

I never planned on telling you, but... [He sighs.] I didn't plan on just sitting around here doing nothing. [Kharg's eyebrow is practically in his hairline by now as he stares at Adachi. He doesn't like the sound of this, but Adachi seems like a good guy, and everyone deserves at least one chance. He sighs, he can piece together a little.] What were you planning on doing?

Kharg, I'm not as nice as I seem. All the smiles I give everyone are completely fake, save for some of the ones I give you. That's only part of the game I'm playing, though. [He slides his hands in the pants Kharg gave him. He's still wearing the clothing Kharg loaned him for some reason.] I don't care who I hurt. But, for some reason, I don't want to piss you off... You may be my only real ticket through this place...as odd as that sounds... [He's not going as far as he should. He's putting his words very delicately and carefully.]

I assumed that much. [Anyone who smiles as much as Kharg does has to be faking sometimes. Though the game bit was new. He's studying Adachi carefully, putting the pieces together slowly. He doesn't like the picture he has at the moment, but... Adachi seems like he needs someone.] Look, I can't guarantee that I'll approve of what you were trying, but as long as no one I care about was hurt, I can guarantee that I'm not going to get pissed off. [He's very calm, talking in a soothing tone.]

You slipped up in a couple places, but I wouldn't have noticed if I didn't know what to look for. [Kharg's been raised to study people, he usually pretends to ignore it.] That's always good in my book, so just tell me what's going on so I can see if I can fix it.
