[If he's paying attention, he'll notice the temperature of the room going up and the vaguest sense of heaviness in the air.]

[If he notices, he doesn't react, simply giving the girl a warm smile. In the next moment something around her shifts, the hold the collar has on her powers weakening noticeably.]

[She lets out a soft sigh, like there was something released from her, and she raises her arms to the ceiling, as though to stretch. The walls are changing. Becoming red and fleshy, a pulse beating through them.]
