[Justin's own scars (the ring around his neck, the burns covering his legs and torso, the various other slashes and lines) are less Alex-made than the biohazard symbol that Maka bears (and the Justin as already found), but Maka should know by now just how much he relies on his sight, how lost he would be if he were blinded.]
