[There is a very noisy purple cat prowling the halls. This noisy cat has a broken front leg, but that doesn't seem to be stopping it from trying to get the attention of anyone who could possibly realize that, no, this isn't merely a noisy cat but a noisy cat that happens to also be a polymorphed Vaarsuvius who can't change back to an elf.
V-kitty is going everywhere, so wherever your character is, s/he could be prowling around, yowling hir head off. Please try to avoid killing hir, even though those yowls are very annoying and you're all distracted by trying to avoid dying. Because a purple cat appearing out of nowhere exactly when everyone's getting murdered isn't suspicious at all, right?]
