[His eyes are only focused on hir and that hand remains still so it can come near. Ears laid back, creeping. It must be frightened. Sebastian grins a little though, quite aware of the scent around this one. He's not sure if this is the elf or a cat that belongs to it.

Those gloved hands open wide and proceeds to pick the other up, fingers squeezing around the ribs but not hurting, only enough to hold while his thumbs stroke the chest]

[He was doing it half on purpose as if expecting the other to transform back into what she or he was, depending on whether or not the other was infact who he was thinking they were. He kept stroking and oh god when it purred, Sebastian couldn't help but lean back against the wall and pet down it's back]

[Obviously, hir attacker was unwilling to attack a cat. The movement jostled the kitty's broken front paw, making it bristle briefly, but V managed to keep any other reaction down. Well, almost any other reaction. S/he still muttered a sarcastic comment about degrading hirself to live on long enough to warn the others. Seriously, if it had been only hir life at stake, s/he would have let the guy kill hir before letting him make hir purr like this. Of course, the little comments and jibes only came out as really adorable mewing.]

Mew, meow, mew, purrrrrr....

[At the bristle he's going to curl his fingers around that paw, stroking it a little more as he tries to ease it's pain. Poor thing. He almost forgets it may be something else all together. Thumb presses against the pad and squeezes it, his entire body relaxed at this point with the unusual cat on his chest]
