[Gene just emerged out of the bathroom when he got the alert with his toothbrush still in his mouth and a towel wrapped around his neck. His shirt is off but he's wearing gray sweat pants. Everything he own was gray except for his ties.]

Hey, if it means keeping the peace and keeping the kids calm, sometimes a lie has to be told to make it easier to cope. Some people aren't ready for that.

[He thought about Kite's transmission for a while now and wondered how much of it was true and how much the Consortium put there to illicit fear.]

You know what I think? I think that these doctors are a bunch of assholes that put out this information to keep us scared. It's no different than the Secret Service using people as their scapegoat.
