Oh, I guess you're new, then? Well, Val took us all hostage... A few weeks ago, I've been told? Long enough for all my food to have rotted, anyways...

Anyways, Val took us hostage and made us do a bunch of challenges. Things like forcing us to crack codes, keep touching a green octagon or we get shocked, kill one of us so the rest can live... That sort of thing.

Oh...

That's kind of strange! And mean, too, I guess! Why did she do that?

I have no idea why any of the doctors do anything, Val included. All I caught was that it was part of some sort of attempt to "make us break"?

[And she leans against a green octagon on the wall in thought as the tone starts]

I mean, what do they really have to gain from giving us challenges like that? Did they really think it would "break" us in any way? What did she even mean by "break" anyways?

"Break?"

Um. ...Maybe she wanted you to go crazy! I don't know why someone would want that to happen, though!

Really? Make us crazy? But why would she do that? And why would she go for such roundabout methods? There are simpler ways to make people crazy.

Maybe she thinks it's fun?

Some people just like to do that kind of stuff!

That might be true, she did insist we were "interesting"... I can't imagine why someone would like to do that, though...

[Oh hey, did the tone stop? Yes it did! Someone seems to be unaffected, though.]

[And someone else IS affected.

Deuce shakes and ends up on the floor from the shock.]

Wha-- What happened, are you okay? Do you need help getting back to your room? Where are you, what suite are you in?

[deuceofclubs]

[Deuce pulls the faciliberry close to him from where it dropped when he fell. He doesn't get up, however, and instead shifts so that he's sitting up with his back against the wall.]

Mmn-no, I'm okay, I think!

It just really hurts...
