XX9: Angels Deserve to Die // Joshua, Sephiroth

May 14, 2010 12:30

[The feed clicks on with a whirl as the world seems to spin violently before coming to an abrupt halt as the 'berry crashes to the floors with a clatter. It's now awkwardly pointed at where the ceiling and a heavily-damaged wall meet. There's a tiny shock of silver in the corner of the video before a vending machine floats into view and obstructs it. The machine is flung at the wall with a crashing noise; its actual target can be heard grunting, collapsing amid wall-rubble as his bones break.]

[The impact shakes the floor as a piece of debris strikes the 'berry to reveal the full scene--destruction in the downstairs cafeteria's north side. Torn mess of a floor and walls blown back... Joshua is floating a few feet off the ground, glaring disdainfully at whoever's trapped under the vending machine, which shakes slightly before rolling over to reveal his victim. Sephiroth's a crumpled heap on the floor with his back leaning on remains of the lower wall. Long silver hair hides his face until he turns toward his attacker with a remorseful, expectant, and strangely submissive look.]

Asshole.

[Joshua lets himself drop to the ground and moves as if to turn around, but the Faciliberry catches his eye. He blinks once, then makes his way toward it and grabs it. He regards it silently for a moment before tossing it at the pile of rubble surrounding Sephiroth. The 'berry flies, landing by him and revealing the slow trickle of blood coming down his face as he watches the boy leave the scene. Finally noting the video feed, he maintains a repentant look and chokes on something he wants to say before simply resigning and cutting the feed off.]
