[He stared forever at this, reading it all.]

Woooooooooooooooooooow, Shikamaru. How'd you write that up so fast?

I had a lot of it written up before the last reset. It was just a matter if finishing it.

That's pretty cool. I'd get bored writing all of that up.

Once I get more information on the Facility Welcoming Committee I'll bring it on by. You can...I don't know...proof-read it and change stuff if you want. [Not the sharpest crayon but probably among the brightest.]

It's not that entertaining, but there wasn't much else to do while we couldn't walk. [And it's not like anyone got that much sleep that week.]

Sure, that's fine.

[Rit's reading it, then smiles at little at Shikamaru from where he's perched on top of his faciliberry, tail flicking] Now I don't have to explain as much. Thanks.

[Ritsuka gets a little smile back.] It's needed updating for a while now.

Yeah. There was always a lot more to explain, especially after we saw the whole station.

It's still a lot to process, even condensed down this far, but it should make things easier.

I've been here for a while now, and this is still disturbing to read through.

And that's not even everything. [Sigh.]

Probably for the best. You don't want to overwhelm them completely.

They won't need our help with that.

[There's a sharp sound, repeated- it's a metallic ringing, as of metal on glass. Dear Shikamaru, Motoko still has your booze.]

If you need a translator at some point, I can serve.

[It's shocking that they haven't needed one yet, come to think.]

[You booze thief. :\

You know, Shikamaru's wondered about that. Not too much (for him) seeing as they've always had more important things to occupy them, but still... what are the odds of 160 from different worlds all understanding the same language?]

Thanks, but I don't think we will. As odd as that is.

Demons... Gods?... Oh cara (Oh dear)...

Ah... this is very helpful information. Thank you... Shikamaru, was it?

Could you tell me about your previous attempts at escaping? Perhaps I could help formulate a new plan.

Nara Shikamaru. You're Leonardo, right?

[He takes a deep breath before starting his explanation, tone efficient and almost bored. Someone's done this before~]

Previous escape attempts consist mostly of gathering our strongest fighters and trying to bash our way through the walls. Early on we had limiting bracelets instead of collars, and several people were able to remove them and gain access to their full powers for almost a week. The real trouble is that once you dig deep enough, you hit a layer of what the doctors called Byxantium, a metal that no one here can get through.

The only times we've ever been able to gain ground outside this facility were actually the Consortium's fault. Once was faulty maintenance and the most recent was entirely intentional. The problem there is that once the barriers between the Facility and Alpha Omega are breached, the station is locked down and all escape pods are released, leaving us stranded within the station anyway.

Correct.

[He listens intently, nodding every once in awhile.] So then, brute force will not work, and it is currently impossible to avoid being frozen during... 'reset', I believe it was called, so we could not take advantage of that time frame.

Hmm.. But they come in during reset to manipulate us, correct? And to do it in an efficient timeframe, they would likely need at least a few dozen people, and therefore, a quick way to get several people in and out of this facility. There must be a door hidden somewhere, then.

The previous staff told us they have some sort of technology that they use to transport themselves in and out of the facility. We haven't been able to find any doors in the time we've been here, so I assume they have some sort of teleportation ability.

We have managed to send small... creatures through vents before, but those seem to have been sealed off.
