You Guys Loki OMG
The Thor 2 trailer is apparently now out, as WGKT reliably informed me. (I'm not gonna link y'all, the trailer's plastered all over the internet.)
And, oh my GOD.
It's all pretty much what I expected, except--
No, not the bit at the end with Loki. That I was /waiting/ for.
Before that, when the narration says, "what would you sacrifice for what you believe?" and there's a shot of Malekith holding Jane Foster hostage. After that, someone falls to his knees, and then you see Thor screaming, "NO!" like he's broken.
And the implication, of course, is that Jane Foster is Thor's greatest weakness blah blah he will have to sacrifice her to save the universe.
And of course the internet is buzzing with it.
But.
Take a closer look at the shot in between Jane and Thor.
The person falling to his knees? That's not Thor. I even went back and double-checked Thor's armor. The armor in the mystery shot is too green, the design is all wrong, the hands are too slim.
I'm about 95% certain it's Loki.
I don't even. Just. Loki.
