moving plans!
ok so i got the job in LA! i'm really excited but scared at the same time. i'll be working for In Sync Advertising, as a junior motion graphics designerwith a woman named Suchi, who graduated from SCAD the same time as Duff. she's really nice and tried her hardest to make feel comfortable. the company does movie trailers, so i'll be helping with the concept for movie logos and the text animation for the trailers.
but yeah, i'm leaving the day after Thanksgiving with my mom, so we can get everything set up. i'm staying with my cousin for a little while, to see if i can last the 3 month probationary period and/or like the company. after that i'll probably look for a place to stay "on my own", because my cousin's married and has two children (13 and 5) so i don't want to take up too much of her space and be a burden on her. . .though i really do appreciate everything that she and her family are doing for me.
so far, i've started packing up and my mom's has already asked my uncle to buy me a corolla. so all i have to do is fly over there and my uncle will already have the car ready and we'll pay him back. i still have to finish packing and tie up a few loose ends here and there. i know for sure i have to get over this cold i've had for about a month or so. argh.
