I realized something as this customer walked the door, "have a good day, bitch" fluttering out of his mouth and my retorting, a rather loud, "excuse me?"
I'm sick and tired of people getting away with things such as calling me a "bitch" for not doing my job properly.
that customer is no longer allowed in my store again because I told him so. Vindication is sometimes a really wonderful thing to experience.
No more people taking advantage of me and more of me standing up for myself in situations that I know I'm in th right. You know what, even if it's irrational I'll fucking put up a fight because I'm a stubborn person. so =P! to assholes. Beware.
I just don't understand where a 45 year old man gets off thinking it's the "right" thing to do to get his frustration across with me, a 20 year old girl, by calling me such a degrating thing? He damn well knows that it's not okay now, but what if he does that to another person and they can't say something because they'll loose their job? I coulnd't do what I did today at Barnes and Noble because of customer service policies, but I really wish I could have to certain people. Ugh, the main point is that if anyone treats you who might be reading this in anyway that pisses you off or isn't right, fuck the policies, you're a human and you're working to help them. People forget that you are human and you will remember this for the rest of the day and it will bug you to no end.
