Houston, we have a problem. Or, in other words, what the hell is this all about? He's supposed to be Prince Charming. Did he go all darkside on us? What am I missing?

...At least you have some discretion after all.

It's not really much of a change- just some nomenclature.

Names can be deceiving, DiNozzo.

Is this how you discipline them?

oh so private how could she have forgetten guardianed September 16 2008, 17:02:33 UTC
...For goodness sake.

In the face of massive change it is sometimes more effective to keep in mind what has not changed.

I will not chide my officers for daring to think.

oh so private we do not know but are here to remind her of it. painfully. sideralis September 16 2008, 17:07:45 UTC
They can also "think" to their superior officer's face.

This is insubordination a disgrace.

oh so private she's noticed. ever so glad you're here to pull her to her senses. guardianed September 16 2008, 17:13:17 UTC
They may choose to do so. I will not censor my officers' tongues from valid questions.

As you choose to define it, Captain. He is my subordinate, and Charming is my superior. If someone chooses to make of this a greater issue than the questioning of the new system, I will deal with it.

oh so private glad she appreciates him. sideralis September 16 2008, 17:17:29 UTC
Direct confrontation is more honest.

To talk behind backs... that is the work of a servant, not an officer.

And more dangerous. Directly questioning him on his new policies has already occurred, by numerous parties.

You obviously don't talk to your subordinates much. And to figure out where one stands is the duty of any responsible person.

No.

I encourage open discourse.

What about the part where he says we're only to supposed to go to scenes of crimes when called and only to be called by those who're willing to press charges?

Can I ignore that part 'cause he's out of his jurisdiction? Can I? Or will I have to check first whether someone's willing to press charges before helping them out?

You don't say.

Oh, and hey. How're you holding up? There's been concern!

(ooc; ... Yes, he can actually be serious and all, too. He just refuses to show it on a normal day. <<; )

It's insane.

Technically he is my superior in the City. However, he has stated that he places no restrictions on what we do in our 'spare time'. I will not forbid you from going into the field if something comes up.

[private]

...Has there? I'm fine, there's no need to concern yourself.

... Whatever. He's not my boss. Superior, sure, but not my boss. And now I'll have that song stuck in my head all day. You're not the boss of me now. ... I mean. You are. He's not, though.

Cool.

[private]

Yeeeep. Maybe you need to drink more coffee. Always worked out for Gibbs.

(ooc; He's a nice guy? Deep down? Really! *sheepish*)

Technically George Blake is your boss, last I checked.

I'll pass, thanks. I've got everything under control.

[ooc; *pats* Hawkeye can tell, it's why she puts up with his nonsense~]

Technically, you're both my bosses. And Gibbs. Maaan, I have three bosses now. Wow. Gibbs is still my boss-boss, though!

[private]

Can't say I didn't offer. Hey, how 'bout I bring donuts tomorrow. Want one?

(ooc; It's all his way of showing his love. Really.)

Have fun with that bureaucratic tangle, then.

I would never. ...If you must.

Well, Gibbs isn't here and you're not my direct boss. It's pretty easy to figure out.

[private]

Donuts! What's your favourite kind, hm? Go on, you can tell me!

(ooc; Tony says he's not weird at all.)
