Sounds like you've had a few doses.

Not until you stabilize.

[Have a knock at your door, and a Hawkeye poking her head in.]

[ You'll find Tony lying on his bed, dopey grin on his face, staring at the ceiling like it's the most amazing thing he's ever seen. His hands are covered completely in bandages, other than that, he's got butterfly bandages all over his body, including his arms and his face. He's pretty scratched up/burnt.

He looks over as the door opens and beams, but doesn't move. ]

[Hawkeye closed the door behind her before approaching the bed. He looked like he'd had a run-in with an explosive fireball- and the Lieutenant had seen her fair share of burns. The bandages were extensive, almost shockingly so. She had done this before, she reminded herself, but the state of the man in front of her kept her from returning any sort of smile. He really was drugged up.]

I'd hate to see you blown up a lot, if that's where a little blown up landed you, Anthony.

[ Tony followed her with his gaze, his eyes wide and slightly unfocused. He grinned up at her, not even noticing the look on her face. ]

Call me Tony. 's my name, yanno? An' it's not so bad, really! Jus' blown up a little bit.

[ ooc; ... Tony on painkillers is like that in canon, I can't help it *headdesk* ]

[Hawkeye had to keep from rolling her eyes; It's not so bad because you're drugged out of your mind. It was best to humor the marginally deluded, as long as they weren't trying to do something dumb. And glanced behind her, fetching a chair to sit down on near the foot of the bed.]

Tony, then. How did you wind up blown up a little bit?

[I think that's fairly standard for heavy duty pain drugs xD;;;]

Uh.

[ Tony tried staring at the tip of his nose for a moment, but when that made him feel dizzy, he stared at Hawkeye again. She wasn't Gibbs. His boss, but not Gibbs. Why wasn't Gibbs here? ]

Where's Gibbs?

[ He blinked, only now realising that she'd asked him something, too. ]

'nother trap. An' the kid was in it so I tried t' get him, see. But something blew up when I came close, but! But! [ he beams ] 'm fast, yanno, so it only blew me up a little!

[Gibbs was a new name to her- someone from his home, perhaps? Nothing to be done there.]

I'm not sure.

[He was lucky, then. An explosion designed to keep out help was probably also meant to kill. And if he hadn't noticed the explosive before it went off, it had been well hidden. Hawkeye exhaled a small sigh.]

You're lucky you're not worse off, then.

[ Tony nodded enthusiastically, but stopped almost immediately and winced. ]

'm a lucky guy! An' nice. 'm a totally nice guy!
