I keep missing you, so, I'll put them here!
For everyone else, I cut my hair! Now it looks like the Mayor makes me look in the icon again! And it doesn't take forever to dry! Yay!
Yes, I look ghostly white, but I swear I've actually been getting the sun; my camera lies. A little. And I've done a little more clipping here and there since the pictures, but not so much, really. A few bits and pieces.
And so this post isn't just pictures of my hair...
Knitting!
Purple hat! I love this hat. It's so comfortable, and soft, and stretchy-edged thanks to this thing called the Italian cast-on. It took friggin' forever to knit.
I call this the Pretzel Bag, because... well, it sure looks like a pretzel in that pattern to me. After-the-fact. I threw together a fair isle chart because this one I liked wasn't the right number of stitches across, not thinking... "Hey, that looks like a salty snack!" Still, the friend I knitted it for likes it. :D
There's a lot to this little bag here. Cable decoration, inside and outside pocket, a full lining of pink paisley (which may be silk, I'm not sure) and a button! Yay button! There's a little brown bow that works as a toggle to keep it snugged shut.
Gandalf likes it. XD
Dice bags! The teal one is the one I used, and tricky little s.o.b. it was to do, teaching me I'm actually a combination knitter (I think?) and I didn't even know it! All with different colours of the same kind of variegated yarn.
A few stitches thrown in, and bulky yarn on my biggest double-pointed needles (compare this in-progress shot to this one of the dice bag) but it's the same pattern as the teal dice bag, more or less. I keep my nail polish in it.
I have more, but I'll spare you all from this post getting out of hand. XD
