Peruvian Nation Rejuvination
Act I: The Proposal
Kevin Guzman informs me that Kevin Barlow and himself were planning a month-long trip to South America this summer. Enthralled by this prospect, I told him I would start saving.
Act II: The Denial
Attempting to save money for said trip, I realize how difficult it would be to attain the funding for the trip and still pay rent and bills.
Act III: The Acceptance
Making a difficult decision, I decide that I will be unable to save the money for the trip and am dissapointed that I will be missing a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Act IV: The Resurection
David informs me today that he is planning on going on the trip with the Kevins and that the trip has been shortened to two weeks in Peru, including hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. I again commit myself to saving, more hopeful than before because of the decreased amount I will need to procure for the trip. I feel like it will be a struggle over the next few months to work as much as possible and live thriftily, but the rewards will be worth more than the effort.
