(no subject)
So I'm at Wine Room last night, which by the way, so fun! We should all go soon you buy this little card and you walk around and put it in these machines and you can get a sample a half glass or full glass. They have something like 126 kinds of wine. We drank A LOT. It was fun. But that is not the point of this entry. So we're there and my mom calls me and tells me that my brothers football coach and his wife totally want to help me find my job. His coach is a rep in Talahassee and I dont know what his wife does, something for the state too. His wife was telling my mom about all these things she thought would be good, and all these people she knew that I could talk to. She said a lot of times if you start working for the state they pay for your grad school. And since one of my goals in life besides living in a city where I don't have to have a car is to have someone else pay for my grad school! SOOO I am going home sometime in the next few weeks to have lunch with her. I really hope this all works out. It would be great to have my mom stop bugging me about finding a job......
Oh plus number 2 she said that a lot of the jobs require that you speak Spanish, and that she missed out on a really cool job a few years ago b/c she doesn't speak Spanish! I knew all this hard work and stress was worth is.
