Ok, so I'll start with my dress as a bridesmaid:
I'm a little kid at heart and ran to the fish section at Wal-Mart:
BTW, Wal-Mart is pretty darn popular. And walking around, wasted, at 2am is only entertaining because you're wasted.
Taco Time is like Taco Bell but 100 million times better. It's like making tacos at home, only buying them at a restaurant.
The one time we actually did eat at Taco Bell, I was maybe a little too entertained by the hot sauce packet:
Ravetastic Glow Golf in the mall:
Speaking of the mall, I met this kid my first day in GJ:
(this picture is at the train station)
The day I left Grand Junction, Nate also left, to go see family in Castle Rock. And he sent me pictures of the Rocky Mountains:
The train ride home was lame to the max. First it was 6 hours late getting to GJ, and by the time it reached emeryville, it was 9 hours late. At some point in the middle of nowhere nevada desert, I was stuck staring at this for about half an hour:
When I got home, none of the cats cared that I was back. They barely looked at me while they inspected my luggage. Forrezt at least slept near me on my bed. Damien is a spaz and decided it would be a good idea to make me look like an emo kid:
And because Persian New Year is awesome, here's Nicky jumping over a fire at the chaharshanbey souri festival last night:
I had a blast in Colorado, and I really didn't want to come home. Neither did all my new friends =(
But I'll be visiting them again soon, Beth will be back in GJ for Paul's graduation in May, and I am SO there.
Oh yes, the weather was fantastic! And I almost died in the heat here yesterday.
