A Doctor/Rose Fanmix
This fanmix originally was all happy, but then it got to be not so happy so it is split up into roughly two parts, but I don't have separate cover art or anything because the change isn't that clear, you could say it starts with "I follow you into the dark", or you could say it started after that. The first part is the happier part and the second part is the sadder part. With the music I tried to have slower songs in the sad part but as I was about to upload the zip "Precious" came on, and I just had to put it on so it is kind of an anomaly, in it's placement.

I think this is kind of self explanatory, I mean the whole idea is that ROSE LEAVES EVERYTHING SHE KNOW for soemthing (in my opinion) better. Also HANDS TUCH TO GREET HELLO, run... (in case you haven't gotten it I turn into mush when I talka bout really shippy things).

Ah, because the Doctor and Rose travel and Rose is the passenger (btw I love the Wallflowers song entitled thus and the Iggy Pop song: I am a Passenger) also because the "Do they collide" lines and Sarah-Jane and Rose's thing on how the Doctor explains things.

Though I thought this song a good song for Doctor/Rose before The Satan's Pit it has taken on new meaning now. Rose is willing to stay behind even if it means dying, she will not leave him, this is ever so slightly one way though because the Doctor does leave her, he comes back as he always does, but it isn't always assured. This song also makes sense to me because of the hands. For some reason I was really reminded of chucks with the soles of your shoes line too.

I think that you came too soon
You're the honey and the moon

I have several reasons for this song. One: it has the moon, no just joking. One: I have read several fics where either Rose has a dream in which her whole life with the Doctor is a dream, or Doctor Who really just all takes place inside Rose's head and so the line "I'd just make you up" makes sense to me. Two: Their first meeting, the Doctor was just, joke, disrupt your life and not care, well he did in the end but still. Three: The bittersweet feeling of this whole song which just screams Doctor Who, also how Rose sometimes (and sometimes really not) appears to be blissfully unaware, but the Doctor always is haunted. Four: The last lines I just find really appropriate and I can't explain it.

This song can also be seen as a Rose fixing the Doctor song, or a parting of ways (not the episode but the thematic element) song.

The first part of this song is from the Doctor's view point because he does sometimes blame himself for what happens to Rose, and the situations she gets into. The later parts of these songs are Rose to me though the first things that made me think of D/R is the chorus but also Angels with silver wings/shouldn't know suffering because Reinnette called the Doctor an angel, and he knows suffering so it fit in my head, besides I just like the song.
