TO Mister Reginald L. Theophilus III,

I am beginning to doubt my own sanity, but I have changed my mind. I would very much like to have a cup of tea with you. You see good tea is simply too hard to find. To pass it by without a good reason, and I find that my own serious disliking of you is not a decent enough excuse, would be a high crime indeed, and I suppose you are not the most horrible of all people I could sit with. It is, with a serious amount of trepidation, that I now ask if you will have me for tea time tomorrow. I will be very much obliged.

Yours faithfully,
Alice Liddell
